Ripple Pond · JFun LLC · Updated October 30, 2026
Your game stays on your device. Ripple Pond has no in-game ads, in-app purchases or accounts, and gameplay works offline. Android 1.0.1 adds regional install measurement through Tenjin. Android 1.0.2 also adds first-party product analytics through Firebase to understand play and improve the game. Android 1.0 and the iPhone and iPad app do not include these measurement SDKs.
Saved on your device
Your complete game save, gold koi, unfinished boards, coaching progress and sound setting stay on your device. Product analytics receives summarized gameplay events described below, rather than your saved boards. Android may include game saves in your own device backup. Measurement preferences, install identifiers and event queues are excluded from app backup and device transfer.
How regional measurement works
Before starting Tenjin, the Android app requests a country decision from a JFun HTTPS service. This connection exposes your IP address to Firebase Hosting for country selection; it sends no advertising ID, install referrer, cookie, GPS or device identifier. The check runs when the app returns to the foreground.
Tenjin stays off in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland and listed EU territories. It also stays off when your country is unknown or the country service is unavailable or returns an invalid response. Earlier saved declines remain effective everywhere. In other known countries, measurement may start automatically. There is no launch popup or measurement control in Settings.
Data used for install measurement
When measurement runs, Tenjin receives your Android advertising ID when available, install and launch/session information, install referrer and campaign attribution information, app version, device and operating-system details, language and technical connection information. Requests expose your IP address, which may be used to infer country or approximate location. Tenjin shares attribution information with Google Ads for analytics and advertising measurement. Google ad personalization is disabled.
We do not send your game saves, fish choices, name, email address or payment information to Tenjin. We do not access precise GPS location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. The app has no advertising, crash-reporting or payment SDK.
Product analytics in Android 1.0.2
Firebase Analytics measures app opens, sessions, foreground engagement, level starts and completions, losses, retries, preview use and time on an unfinished pond. Events include level and attempt numbers, move and affected-fish counts, preview duration and cancellation, first clears and whether the app had an existing game save when measurement began. It uses an app-instance identifier and app, device, operating-system and approximate-country information. We use this data for first-party product analytics, not personalized advertising. Firebase advertising-ID collection, advertising storage, advertising user-data consent and ad personalization are disabled. Product analytics is independent of the regional Tenjin guard and can run outside the regions where Tenjin runs.
Fresh-player reporting excludes existing-save upgrades and restored measurement markers. Debug builds do not collect product analytics. Firebase can queue events while offline and send them later over HTTPS. We do not send names, email addresses, precise location or complete saved boards. There is no account or gameplay analytics switch. Clearing app data removes local progress and local measurement state; it does not itself delete previously received provider data.
Your choices and deletion requests
Android settings let you reset or delete your advertising ID. Deleting it does not necessarily stop all technical measurement information. Earlier saved measurement declines continue to disable Tenjin. To request access to or deletion of measurement data, email hello@jfun.ai; please do not include sensitive details in your initial message. We will help identify the relevant records and request deletion where supported and legally required.
Recipients, security and retention
Measurement is processed by Tenjin and Google, including processing outside your country. Connections use HTTPS encryption in transit. Firebase event-level data is retained for two months; user-level data follows the configured retention period, currently 14 months, with reset on new activity. Aggregate reporting may remain longer. Tenjin records follow its applicable service and retention settings. We use them while needed for campaign reporting and applicable legal obligations. We do not sell your game saves.
Playing and resetting
Hold a fish to preview its splash. Lift to catch, or slide away to cancel. Catch every fish without scaring one into the reeds. To retry a pond, open Settings and choose Retry. To erase progress on Android, use Settings → Apps → Ripple Pond → Storage → Clear data. Reinstalling may restore your game backup.
Support
Email hello@jfun.ai. Tell us your device, level number and what happened. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send, use it to respond, and normally retain correspondence for up to 12 months after resolution unless a legal obligation requires longer.
Children and updates
Ripple Pond is a general-audience puzzle game, not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided measurement data so we can investigate and request deletion. We may update this policy when data practices change; the revision date identifies the policy.
