A little help

Tide Pool support

Tap sand to drop a pebble. Then every creature steps toward the sea. Wall them all in before any reaches the water.

Write to hello@jfun.ai. For a bug, include your device, the level number, and what happened. A screenshot helps; avoid sending personal information you don’t need to share.

How do I play?

Tap a sand hex to drop a pebble there. Then every creature, in order, takes one step along its shortest open path to the sea. Footprints show where each one will step next. Wall every creature in so none can reach the water, and the island is cleared.

How do the creatures move?

Turtles walk to any neighbouring sand. Crabs move only sideways, along the arrow on their shell. Ducks walk like turtles, and can also hop over a single pebble, so one pebble in front of a duck is not enough.

How do stars work?

Fewer pebbles, more stars. Three stars means you used as few pebbles as possible. There is no pebble limit, but every pebble is a turn, and the creatures move each time.

A creature escaped. What now?

When a creature’s next step is the sea, a red ring marks the edge it will cross and the island ends. Tap Retry to play the same island again. You can also retry any time from the gear during play.

What is the Shelf?

Every island you clear gives a keepsake. The Shelf on the home screen keeps them all, with the next one shown as a silhouette.

Can I play offline?

Yes. Tide Pool never needs an internet connection, and you don’t need an account.

Where is my progress saved?

Progress, best results, keepsakes and settings are stored on your device, including the island you are in the middle of. Tide Pool has no account or cloud sync between devices, and updating normally keeps your save. To start over completely: on iPhone or iPad, delete and reinstall the app; on Android, open Settings → Apps → Tide Pool → Storage → Clear storage (Android may restore a backed-up save after a reinstall).

How do I turn off sound or vibration?

Tap the gear on the home screen or during play. Sound and Vibration are switches there.

Is Tide Pool suitable for kids?

It is a calm, non-violent puzzle with no chat, no social features and no purchases. It is a general-audience game, not a service directed specifically at children under 13.
