Silo privacy

Who operates Silo?

Data stored on your device

Silo saves your puzzle progress, earned coins, settings and privacy choice locally. It also stores event timing and attempt metadata for analytics reporting. We do not upload your puzzle boards or saved-game files as analytics.

Gameplay analytics

Release builds use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand puzzle difficulty and improve Silo. Reporting runs in the background and does not interrupt play. This includes:

• Gameplay interactions such as tower starts, clears, retries, time spent actively playing, moves, stars, tool use, earned coins and tutorial progress.
• A randomly generated app-instance identifier, plus standard app and device context such as app version, device model, operating system and language.
• Approximate regional information derived by Google from the connection’s IP address. Silo does not request precise location access.

These records are associated with an app installation. We do not attach a name, email address or account to gameplay analytics. We disable advertising identifiers, Apple’s vendor identifier, advertising consent, ad personalization and Google Signals. We do not use this data for targeted advertising, link it across other companies’ apps or websites, or sell it to data brokers.

Google processes analytics data for us. See Google’s privacy policy and Firebase’s privacy information. Processing may occur in the United States or other countries where Google operates.

Retention and deletion

We configure event and user data retention in Google Analytics to two months, without extending user-data retention on new activity. Google applies retention changes after 24 hours and processes deletion on its schedule. Aggregated reports are not subject to that event-level retention limit and may remain longer.

For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, contact hello@jfun.ai. Because gameplay analytics does not contain your name or email, we may be unable to locate an individual installation’s record from your contact details alone. We will respond as required by applicable law. Declines saved by earlier beta versions continue to be respected.

Support messages and this website

If you email us, we receive your email address and what you choose to send. We use this to respond and normally retain support correspondence for up to 12 months after a request is resolved, unless a legal obligation requires longer retention.

These pages use Firebase Hosting. Hosting infrastructure processes requests, including IP addresses and technical connection information, to deliver and secure the site. These Silo pages do not add analytics scripts, advertising cookies or third-party fonts.

Children and changes

Silo is a general-audience puzzle game, not a service directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information, contact us so we can address it.
